“Steel String Quartet” played by Ars Nova: Michael Carlqvist, David Sundberg, Nguyễn Thanh Thủy and Stefan Östersjö.
Originally built as an installation (click here for more details), a swing made of steel wire was played by visitors and amplified via headphones. It was part of a soundwalk made for the IMAGONIRMIA residency in Chiaravalle/Milano (Italy), June 2016.

The installation was then built in four copies at the Darmstadt Ferienkurse 2016 and a piece was written with the precious collaboration of four percussionists: Stanis Pili, Vincent Caers, Nagisa Shibata and Oded Gheizals. A video of the first performance is here.
Another version is included in my CD, also available on Spotify:
This video shows how I built the swings:
Your work is taking music into a whole new dimenstion. This is all new to me, but the vibrational aspects just make so much sense.
